Supporting Families in Need at NRF 2024: Walmart GoLocal and Salesforce Sponsor Charity Activation For Ronald McDonald House New York

Walmart GoLocal and Salesforce had the privilege of hosting a charity activation with Ronald McDonald House New York at last month’s National Retail Federation conference in New York City. NRF 2024, the retail industry’s most significant event of the year, brought together leaders and innovators from around the world. Amidst the buzz of retail trends and technological advancements, our teams at Walmart GoLocal and Salesforce sponsored a heartwarming charity for Ronald McDonald House to support families in need.
Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for families with critically ill or injured children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. They offer a comforting and supportive environment during difficult times, and we believe in their mission of keeping families close when it matters most. The donations we helped provide during NRF will go a long way in providing support, comfort and a sense of togetherness to families facing unimaginable challenges.
Attendees came together to fill bags with donated items for families in need throughout the three days of NRF. These bags are not just filled with essentials; they are packed with love, hope, and the support families need during painful moments. In total, with the help of NRF attendees, Walmart GoLocal and Salesforce donated over 250 bags to families in need, including NICU essentials, breakfast supplies, and dinner meal kits.
Thank you to all who came together to fill the donation bags and write hand-written notes to recipients. Your support helps us create a positive impact in the lives of families in need. Not only did we fill donation bags, but we also filled hearts with kindness and hope at NRF 2024.
